06.10.09

so lazy to wake myself up from bed tis morning
but bio n chem is important

must force myself to climb out of the bed

hav our Bio in science lab
let me think of days in form2

when last day schooling =)

finally finished chapter 7

complicated words
take a break at 10.30am

then went to chem Lab
doing experiment today =D

Neutralisation

preparing apparatus

sodium hydroxide + phenolphtalene

sodium hydroxide is alkaili
tats y the phenolphtalene turns pink
when it become neutral
it will turns colourless

but teacher said the phenolphtalene has some problem
so we change to use methyl orange

add a lot of hydrochloric acid after recording the results
alkaline solution turns into acidic
become Pink =)

after tat we still hav half an hour
so Pn Neela let us do another experiment

Preparation of Copper(ii) sulphate salt

sulphuric acid

heat it up before adding substance

copper carbonate

green in colour

now..

now after heating the sulphuric acid
we add in copper carbonate

filters the excess copper carbonate in the solution
to obtain copper(ii) sulphate solution only

after filtration

yeap~
Im the one filtrating =)

heat the solution again
let the solution evaporate until 1/3 left

copper(ii)sulphate salt is formed ^^

then go for tuition
